Back to School 3

Hello Web Beauties!!

I am back!!! Finally; I know right?!?   Anyway, I am off of vacation and all moved into my new house and about to start school again, so I am now back!! :)

Anyway, here is a new back to school outfit!

It is very neutral look for the girls out there that are into more natural colors and not all the bright colors!  Anyway, I did give a little pop with high waisted, pale pink and a brownish green pair of shorts.  This gives the brown, flowy shirt a little more structure.  Then I paired it with a pair of dream catcher inspired earrings, and a stack of beaded bracelets. For the shoes I just went simple with a pair of gladiator sandals.

Back to School 2!

Hello Web Beauties!!

Today's back to school theme is nautical!!  I thought this dress was so simple and chic for a back to school look; plus white and blue make you look a little more tan than you really are;)

Anyway, I paired the dress with a blue blazer, just in case you are in high school or middle school and aren't allowed to wear tank tops, this gives you an opportunity to wear the dress, but with a blazer opened up.  Plus the cuffed sleeves gives the blazer a more relaxed look, so you don't have to worry about looking to business like!  I also paired it with a ring with an anchor and a white and blue rope bracelet.  I didn't want to overwhelm the dress with a bunch of anchors and cliche nautical items.

For the shoes, I chose some Sperry wedges, that I do have to say are pretty much the most comfortable wedges I have ever worn!  Then I also paired it with just a brown purse to go with the brown of the belt!

Back to School 1!

Hello Web Beauties!!

I hope that everyone had an amazing weekend!  I was super busy with super fun activities this weekend so I didn't get to post a lot last week!  I was busy saying goodbye to some friends as we all head back to school for the year!

SPEAKING of back to school, I thought I would do some back to school looks!

I am not sure what kind of dress codes high schools have anymore, but hopefully this can help and maybe make some modifications if need be!

So I thought I would go with kind of a hot trend right now, and that would be the high low skirts!  This red one is definitely a color someone would wear to say; "I am confident!"  Anyway, I thought I would pair it up with a white and black tank that tied in the front with tribal design to it.  The shoes, I figured would be easy to walk in, since I go to college, some classes are across campus and I would prefer to wear shoes that are easy to walk in, than ones that are heels and cute, but impossible to walk in.  For the accessories, I just stayed with some simple bracelets, and then a tan satchel for all of my books.  The hair I found this and thought it was amazing!

Hope this helped!!

Girls Night Out #1-Coral Skinny Jeans

Hello Web Beauties!!

So today's outfit is for a fun girl's night out outfit!  I thought this bright look for a girl's night out would be perfect!  I always love wearing bright colors, it may attract the right man for you if you are single ;) haha!

Anyway, the top I find so unique, with what reminds me of a tropical bird and it's feathers!  Or if you are going out salsa dancing with the one shoulder and the cute ruffle going across the top of the shirt .  Plus the shirt can be found at Kohls or Kohls.com for about $27.  One quick note, the prices and where the items can be found are down below the outfit!

The pants I fell in love with instantly!  I haven't seen this type of color pants before, so I couldn't find a cheaper pair, but I find that the coral ties int he pinks of the shirt into he pants and does a great job of adding a better color pop!

For the jewelry I decided to keep it simple with triangular coral studs, black and gold bangles and accessorized the outfit with a glittery black clutch.  Also for shoes, I chose cute black heels that tie the black from the shirt, shoes, and bangles all together.

Maybelline Baby Lips-Review

Hello Web Beauties!

I hope everyone had an amazing weekend, I know mine was fun and relaxing!  This week we are going to start off with one of my recent favorite products; Maybelline's Baby Lips!!  I know I may be a little late to the bandwagon with these, but I have just discovered them, and fell in love!
I purchased three different colors all on different sides of the spectrum, plus our Walmart didn't have a very good variety of them!

Anyway; the first color I got was Peach Kiss.  This has to be my favorite one of the three that I purchased.  The color gives a little bit of nude coloring, but doesn't make a person look dead.  The shine that also comes off of these are absolutely amazing.  It seems like a lipstick, chapstick, and lipgloss all in one.  The packaging is also adorable and come in spring looking colors.

The next color shown, is Pink Punch.  This isn't my favorite color just because bright pink just isn't my color.  I wasn't expecting this color to be so vibrant when applied to the lips, so in turn this isn't my favorite.  If a more vibrant pink lip is your style, then this is definitely the one that you want to go for.  I did notice the glossy-ness isn't as noticeable as the the Peach kiss.

The last one I purchased was Quenched.  This is just a shear chap stick.  This is good product for those who want a little gloss look with the benefits of a chap stick.

All in all, these are great products for those who don't want the look of a full lipstick.  This also cuts out having to purchase a chap stick, a lipstick, and a lip gloss.

Go Team USA!!!!

Hello Web Beauties!!

Today's outfit is inspired by how awesome Team USA is doing!  I am so proud of all of our sports teams!  A big congratulations to Michael Phelps for being the most decorated Olympian in history!  So for inspiration I found a modern flag shirt that ties in the front with high waisted red skinny jeans. Then I paired it with some flat oxford shoes in white.  Then to accessorize I found red, white, and blue bangles and a very cute Team USA bracelet and the American flag earrings.  I didn't put a purse with it, because I figured this look could also double as a Fourth of July look, so when I usually go out for fourth of July to watch fireworks, I usually pack a picnic, so I usually bring a tote bag with blankets and I usually just throw my phone, wallet, and keys in there.

Hope everyone is have an Olympic-tastic Weekend

Revlon Colorstay Whipped Creme Foundation- Review

Hello Web Beauties!!

Today there is going to be a MAKEUP REVIEW!!  I am so excited to start doing this.  I have a couple more already in the works, but the one I am most excited about is going to be my drugstore Beauty Balm or BB creams are what they are known as.  I am going to be getting all of the drugstore brands of BB Creams and comparing all of them for you beauties!

Anyway, back to the REVIEW!!

First of all we are going to start with the packaging.  As you can see in the picture there is a lot of extra space in the bottom of the package.  Overall the packaging is very large and a little bulky for a normal storage in a train case or in a restricted makeup storage.  I have found that with a lot of the new Revlon packaging is a little bulky for normal makeup storage.  Other than it being a little bulky, the overall look is very classy and sleek; nothing to extravagant or over the top.

Now onto the formula of the foundation.  I normally had whipped foundation, because I have combonation skin and so my cheeks are dry and my t-zone is oily; so the foundation usually slips off of my skin if it is just whipped foundation.  So this is why I was intrigued in a whipped creme foundation.  The product promises to be a 24 hour foundation, so I wanted to test that out since usual whipped foundations just slip right off of my skin and usually just stays on for about 1 hour at most, then looks patchy.

The foundation was on the thicker side, but had a light weight feeling when applied.  After applied, I didn't feel as though I could leave it without setting it with a powder.  It also didn't seem to cover all of my imperfections by itself, but I do have skin on the redder side with some patchiness and so that is understandable, so I applied a light concealer and a powder to set.  I applied it all in the morning around 10 am.  Now I am not one that sleeps with makeup on, but I wanted to test the 24 hour promise.  I woke up the next morning around 8 am and it was still pretty much intact.  There may have been a little wiped off here and there, but it still looked pretty good, and when wiped off with a makeup wipe, there still seemed to be a large amount of makeup.  For a drugstore foundation, I was very impressed, and will definitely be repurchasing the product to keep in my collection.

Oh one side note, I am usually, in drugstore foundation, a Creamy Natural, or anything on the lines of Natural Ivory color for foundation, but the summer color I am in Colorstay is number 150-Buff.

Hope this review was helpful!  If there is anything else you would like included in a review, just let me know below!

Skinny Jeans- Boardwalk Shopping

Hello Web Beauties!

I am back!  I took yesterday off to do some photography shots and to get my head back into this fashion game!

Today's look is a great summer look on the beach and boardwalk.  This is a great outfit for shopping on the boardwalk in the sun.  I fell in love with this floral print corset and decided to pair it with some high waisted skinny jeans.  Sometimes there is that breeze coming off of the ocean and can get a little chilly or maybe your shoulders are getting just a little to much sun, so I paired it with a knitted coral cover up.

To accessorize this look I added a soft pink purse that is large enough to keep a water bottle plus some sunscreen, your phone, wallet, and somewhere to store your cover up if you don't want it.  Then I just paired it with some brighter pink sandals.  As for jewelry, I kept it pretty simple with a floral earring, a rose gold and pink cuff and a spiral gold ring with various colors of stones that stay with the color palette of the corset.

Remember to lather yourself in sunscreen and go and have some fun spending money in the sun!
